Snowdonia: Stunning By Day, Stunning By Night! Snowdonia Solar System Trail and Stargazing Evening

If you have stayed at Gors-lŵyd you have no doubt visited Snowdonia. With its breathtaking mountains, streams, waterfalls and lakes it’s a truly beautiful place to be. Have you ever been at night? Did you know Snowdonia is home to the Snowdonia International Dark Sky Reserve?

This is the perfect place to take advantage of the Snowdonia Solar System Trail and a Stargazing Evening. This will be held on Thursday 29 November 2018.

Booking is essential for this event as there are limited spaces. The event is FREE.
Starting with a buffet at 6pm, the program will be as follows:

6.20pm – Welcome / Information about the Snowdonia Solar System Trail – Dafydd Gruffydd – Menter Môn
6:30pm –Creating the planets – Rachel Rosen- Artist
6:40pm – Highlight Video of making the planets with the schools
6:50pm –International Dark Sky Status – Bethan Wynne – Snowdonia National Park Officer
7:00pm – Rockets & Satellites – Jo Hinchiliffe Concrete Dog
