Another 3 Weeks of Lockdown – A Glimmer of Hope for Easter
Friday 19 February saw the Welsh Minister confirming that Wales will extend its lockdown for another 3 weeks. There were some small changes to the lockdown rules; Four people from a maximum of two households will be able to meet outdoors for exercise, primary school children aged eight and over may return to school from 15 March, some non-essential shops and hairdressers can reopen in March, but pubs, restaurants, cafes and gyms are to remain closed.
There was a glimmer of hope for Easter. Talks are ongoing with regard to opening holiday accommodation and hospitality in time for Easter. Self catering, BandBs and travel to and from holiday homes including caravans will be given priority.
The next announcement is 12 March.
Despite the uncertainty over re-opening, Gors-lwyd is getting booked up fast. See here for the latest availability.
