My girlfriend and I stayed at Gors-lwyd for 5 nights over the Christmas period. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice as the cottage is lovely and is perfectly located for our needs. The cottage itself is traditional yet well equipped with all mod-cons, comfortable beds, great kitchen, a relaxing sitting/dining room and beautiful views of the Llyn Peninsula throughout the property. The cottage is in a private location at the end of a country lane, but not too far from the shop and pub in the village. It also has a wonderful garden but it was a bit cold to appreciate them in late December. There are walking trails that are signposted just above the house so great for walkers. Sam was the perfect host and was on hand with information or assistance should we have required it, and there was ample literature in the house about the locality too. She also left us a lovely welcome hamper and was flexible on our check-out time as it was Boxing Day. I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone wanting a relaxing break in North Wales.
